i'm going to promise myself,
i'm going to believe in myself
i'm not going to fall in love
for a year.
still too young to love the right way
and be truthful with myself.
this i will keep true
should it be the last thing i do.
it's been a minute and counting.

yes. the year is so that i can grow. but i will wait until someone proves me deadly wrong as i have stated before.
